This blog reminds me of a Fourth of July fireworks display many years ago. We were hosting a man from Indonesia that worked with my husband. We took our young daughter, a blanket and found a place in the park to sit and get a good view. When dusk came, that first shot up in the sky was exciting when it burst into many different colors. I didn’t expect this usually dignified man to double over in laughter and shouts of delight. We laughed with him especially my daughter of about four. What fun to see a grown man experience such joy at seeing fireworks for the first time.
